COVID 19 Statement: Because the health and safety of our clients, staff, and community is our top priority, if you are in a high risk category or regularly come into contact with a high risk individual, we ask that you strongly consider Skype, Facetime, or a phone session. Appointments

SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT

We invite you to call our office at 419-238-1000 to schedule an appointment with any of our trusted counselors. If you prefer, we can schedule your appointment through email at contact@counselingofficevw.com.  Services are provided on an appointment basis. If you call our office and no one is available to take your call, we encourage you to leave a voice message and one of our staff will return your call as soon as possible.

FEES

Counselor fees are set at $125.00 per hour and billed in 15-minute increments. Each hour of clinical service includes 50 minutes of direct client interaction and 10 minutes for record keeping and review. Payment is required at the time of service, and we accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. Please note that returned checks due to non-sufficient funds will incur an additional $30.00 fee. Full payment is expected at the end of each session.

For indirect services such as email correspondence, meetings, and letters to other professionals or institutions, the rate is $31.25 per 15-minute increment.

INSURANCE

At this time, we only accept insurance through Bree Health/ENI. If you have insurance with Bree Health, please let us know as you will need to call your insurance for Pre-Authorization prior to your initial session. 

For clients with insurance other than Bree Health/ENI, insurance benefits may be available for reimbursing a portion of the fees for counseling services. As a client without Bree Health/ENI insurance, you are responsible for filing any claim with your respective insurance company for applicable reimbursement. Van Wert Counseling Services will provide clients with all necessary information in order to file for reimbursement. You will also be responsible for any notification or preauthorization requirements that may be applicable to receive benefits. Your carrier will need to know that we are an out-of-network outpatient mental health counseling office. We suggest you contact your insurance carrier before your appointment regarding your coverage.
