Family Counseling

Maintaining a healthy, functional home environment is important. One of our goals at Van Wert Counseling is to help families achieve a healthy home life by improving communication, solving family problems and, most importantly, giving you the tools and skills to learn how to handle difficult situations in healthier ways.

Mediation

Mediation is a common strategy used to help groups of individuals or couples resolve divorce and child custody disagreements. During mediation, all individuals will meet privately and confidentially with a specially trained counselor. The counselor’s role is to evaluate each situation and use his or her expertise to guide both parties to reaching their own resolutions.
